SalesRecruits.com showing revenues in excess of $1M

It may sound like this story belongs in another era, but six months after launching SalesRecruits.com, an online job board for employers looking specifically for high-tech salespeople, PeopleComm founder Steve Morgan says business is exceeding even his expectations.

"We are now seeing revenues of more than $1 million and we are gaining contracts everyday," Morgan said.

Here's how the site works: A job seeker logs on at no cost, answers up to 40 questions about prior work experience, and is assigned an online head hunter that finds jobs fitting the candidate's profile.

To date, several thousand candidates have registered at SalesRecruits.com, 36 companies have signed on as paying subscribers, including local firms like FatWire Corp., Bascom Global Internet Solutions, Softheon Corp. and Spearhead System Consultants.
